Reflector™Level A Suit
Dupont patented, heavy duty aluminized fabric laminated to a multiple film barrier. The first limited-use, single-skin garment certified to the NFPA 1991 Standard (2000 Edition). These garments combine broad chemical holdout with chemical and radiant heat protection using a high-tech multi-layer fabric. Reflector garments provide an affordable limited-use alternative to the traditional single garments and cumbersome two-piece ensembles used for escape protection in potential flash situations. Reflector also offers broad liquid and gas chemical holdout, with no breakthrough after eight hours against the entire ASTM F1001 Test Battery. Seams are sewn then taped inside and outside for added protection. Now certified to NFPA 1991, 2000 edition base requirements and the optional chemical and biological terrorism protection requirements. Exceeds the Thermal Protective Performance (TPP) standards for skin protection.
