Checkline is a permanent Horizontal Lifeline system that is easily adapted for roof top and overhead use. It capitalizes on the strength and long life of steel cable and advances in the technology of load management. The in-line load cell measures tension during and after installation to ensure that the cable remains at the specifie tension. This helps to preserve structural integrity and to prevent damage from dynamic loads over long spans. The in-line damper acts as a shock absorber and reduces peak end-loads by up to 40%.
Checkline integrates a variety of different anchorage hardware depending on the structure and application. For roof top systems, the unique TopFix posts allow for simple installation and rapid repair in the event of a fall. These may be mounted in a variety of different ways to an array of available base plates for use on composition or even standing seam roofs. For installation on vertical surfaces, we have a variety of engineered installation and maintenance without overpowering your system.
For connection, enty/exit gates are used in some cases to force compliance. We also have connectors that can be attached or detached anywhere along the line to allow instant access to protection when it is needed, without having to start at a fixed point of entry. Regardless of type, all of our connecting hardware is constructed using rugged, long-lasting stainless stell and make tying off and maneuvering seamless.
